And, of course, let's not forget Guillermo (the long-suffering familiar who’s finally, officially, a vampire! … mostly).
I'm personally most excited to see how Guillermo handles his newfound vampirism. Is he going to become a ruthless killing machine? A sophisticated blood connoisseur? Or just continue to be exasperated by everyone's antics? My money's on the latter.
What will the storylines be this time? That’s the million-dollar question. Expect more chaotic shenanigans, more misguided attempts at world domination (or, at least, neighborhood domination), and more awkward social interactions with the human world. You know, the usual.
Will They Ever Find True Love? (Probably Not)
One of the running gags of the series is the characters’ attempts to find romance. Nandor's quest for a wife (or wives) has been a recurring theme, and Nadja and Laszlo's codependent, utterly bizarre relationship is both hilarious and strangely endearing. Let's face it; these characters are terrible at relationships. Which is, of course, why we love them.
My prediction: Someone will accidentally fall in love with a garden gnome. Or maybe a particularly charismatic pigeon. The possibilities are endless.
Guest Stars? Bring 'Em On!
What We Do In The Shadows is known for its stellar guest appearances. From Mark Hamill as an ancient vampire enemy to Tilda Swinton as… well, Tilda Swinton, the show has a knack for bringing in some serious star power. Hopefully, Season 6 will continue this trend.
Who would I love to see? Kristen Schaal as a rival energy vampire, maybe? Or Taika Waititi reprising his role as Viago from the original film? The possibilities are endless! (Producers, if you're reading this, consider this my official pitch.)
The Final Chapter: What to Expect from the Finale
