The gameplay is where things get REALLY interesting. Forget turn-based combat (for the most part). Here, you're running around, slashing with your sword, and summoning demons in real-time. It's fast, it's furious, and it requires a surprising amount of tactical thinking. You need to figure out which demons are best suited for each fight, exploit enemy weaknesses, and manage your resources. It’s a lot more strategic than just button mashing, trust me.

Speaking of demons, the demon fusion system is, as always in SMT games, incredibly deep. You can fuse your demons to create new, more powerful ones. Experimenting with different combinations is half the fun! Want a demon that resists fire and heals your party? Fuse away! The possibilities are practically endless. (And addictive. The setting is absolutely fantastic. 1920s Tokyo, with its blend of traditional Japanese culture and burgeoning Western influence, is brought to life in stunning detail. Now, I'm not going to pretend the game is perfect. The camera can be a bit wonky at times, and the story, while interesting, isn't exactly Shakespeare. But those flaws are easily forgiven in light of everything else the game does so well.
